Flora Europaea the Linnean original specimen biennal, T, 2n=20, diploid xeric steppe and forest-steppe species which frequently turns intoa ruderal Mediterranean -west Pontic Artemisietea, Dauco-Melilotion R87 habitats       A xeric steppe Mediterranean species which is most frequently found now as a ruderal.
